My name is Shirley West nee Reynolds and I am the Regional Manager for The Bay Of Plenty/Waikato. I have been with Medcall since it’s inception in Auckland in 2002, In 2005 I opened the Tauranga Branch of Nightingale Nursing & Homecare.

I have seen a lot of changes in my Regions in the Aged Care Sector . New ‘state of the art’ Care Facilities being built providing superior care for our elderly. Beautiful villages with a range of activities to keep residents’ Young At Heart.’

I have employed student nurses as temp Healthcare Assistants over the years who are now Registered Nurses in their own right.

We are lucky to have amazing staff some of whom have been working on the agency for a number of years , we become like family.
