Where it began
We began as Nightingale Nursing and Homecare — a bureau placing nurses and caregivers across New Zealand — alongside a permanent recruitment arm operating under the MedCall name. Over the next decade, we built a reputation for quality, reliability, and genuine care for the people we placed.
One name. One mission.
In 2013, we brought everything together under one name: Medcall. One team, one brand, one mission — connecting people who care with the places they're needed most. We continued to lead the healthcare staffing sector, placing hundreds of quality staff in facilities nationwide.
Joining forces
In 2017, Medcall joined forces with Care on Call, our sister company providing in-home care and support services. Together, we cover the full spectrum of care — from facility-based aged care and community health through to personalised in-home support across the country.
